The Rubens are heading back on the road for their sixth studio album, Group Therapy, heading to 24+ cities across Australia in 2026/27, presented by triple j, Grow Yourself Up and WME.
It’s the sound of a band going full circle. After experimenting with synths and autotune on 2024’s SODA, Group Therapy sees The Rubens return to their roots – guitar-driven, recorded live in the room, and made with a mindset of getting it right the first time rather than fixing it later. Produced once again by Konstantin Kersting (Spacey Jane, DMAs, Genesis Owusu), this time working alongside the band in person at their Camden studio, it’s their most authentic record in years.
The album takes its name, in part, from lead singer Sam Margin’s own journey through sobriety and therapy during the making of the record – and the idea that music, at its best, is a shared experience. “How do people often experience music? Together,” says keyboardist Elliott Margin. “Live shows are our favourite part of being in a band. That’s pretty much group therapy for us.”
Fans have already had a taste of the record with singles “Goanna,” “Are You Getting High” and “Love Me America” – the latter a sprawling, guitar-driven love letter to America inspired by the band’s earliest, wide-eyed trips to the US as a young band courted by major labels.
Following five studio albums that have each debuted in the ARIA Top 5, and singles like “Never Ever,” “Live in Life” and “Hoops” going triple-Platinum, The Rubens’ Group Therapy Tour is the sound of a band, fifteen years in, still finding new things to say.

Louis Rebeiro is one of Australia’s most exciting young artists, a multi-instrumentalist whose raw talent, musical maturity, and commanding stage presence have set him apart from an early age. A self-taught prodigy, Louis first gained national attention through viral piano performances and television appearances, quickly earning a reputation as a standout young talent with an old soul.
Since then, he has built an impressive career performing across Australia and internationally, sharing stages with and collaborating with a diverse range of accomplished artists and world-class musicians. He has also earned major accolades, including multiple gold medals at the World Championship of Performing Arts in Los Angeles. Equally at home on piano, Hammond organ, guitar, saxophone, harmonica and vocals, Louis moves seamlessly across Blues, Jazz, Rock, Country and Roots, bringing deep authenticity to every genre while pushing the sound forward with a fresh, modern edge.
Currently studying a Bachelor of Music (Jazz), with piano as his principal instrument, at university, Louis continues to refine his craft while performing regularly on some of Perth’s top stages and major festivals. He has also appeared on Series 2 of The Piano, alongside Amanda Keller, Guy Sebastian and Andrea Lam, further cementing his place as one of the country’s most promising young artists.
Fronting Louis Rebeiro & The Blues Machine, he is joined by a powerhouse lineup featuring Sam Markham on bass and double bass and Felix Lemann on drums. Together, they deliver high-energy, hard-grooving performances that honour the roots of the blues while injecting it with new life, blending soulful feel, explosive solos, and tight, dynamic interplay.
Driven, versatile, and already highly accomplished, Louis Rebeiro represents the next generation of modern blues music , with a career that is only just getting started.

During the very early 90’s, Nick Skitz began what you may call the beginning of a phenomenal career and through sheer hard work and an unquestioned amount of talent, Nick has become one of Australia’s most recognized and sought after Deejay \ Remixer \ Producer.
In turn Nick Skitz has also undoubtedly created an era of Hi Nrg, Techno and Euro Dance music in Australia. His trademark remixes, megamixes and his own tracks have made Nick a household name amongst club goers. Nick’s acute ear for music has also seen him
become a specialist in audio mastering working with the likes of international record companies, deejay remix services and also mastering dance compilations such as Ministry of Sound & Wild compilations.
Nick who is both known for his skills on the decks as much as for his talents in the studio is one of Australia’s greatest dance exports. Following his success with his own track “The Ultimate” which reached Number #2 on the official U.K. Dance Chart, Nick opened a gateway to Europe for his addictive club sounds.
Nick is also credited with starting the megamix craze in Australia and has compiled & mixed numerous dj mix albums to his name, including the successful and renown “Skitzmix” series, which is the highest selling deejay compilation in Australia and always tops the Aria Compilation Chart upon release.
Nick has had an array of successful singles which have reached Top 20 on the ARIA Charts including Slave To The Music, Run To
Paradise, I Want Your Love & Excalibur which gained Platinum status. Nick’s tracks have proven to be popular across Europe, Asia and North America which is why he is in demand deejaying regularly around Australia, New Zealand and Asia.
From working in an array of different studios building his trademark sound, Nick now finds himself residing in his own personal studio with the freedom to pursue and develop his great talent. Nick is a dynamic workaholic who’s unbeatable selection of music never fails to result in screams on the dance floor.
When asked about the scene and his success he humbly shies away from the public eye of the music industry, Nick points out that his passion for playing live and watching a packed dance floor of happy clubgoers enjoying themselves is his motivation. Nick is also a firm believer in listening to the comments of his fans and the kids that buy his tracks over the hyper critical media because they are the ones who matter most to him and judging by his growing fan base Nick seems to be doing everything just right.
